Chit chat... :)

It's lovely catching up with friends... really thankful for the chance to have these long talks. Sometimes I feel I haven't been as good a friend as I would have liked to be. When I hear of the struggles that my friends have gone through in the past half year that I was away, I feel bad for not being around to help them through. We do keep in touch... but somehow it's just not the same as when you're all nearby and can just call each other often or go out together. Even if I'm online often, I'm usually away from the computer... so my status on MSN/ICQ will usually be 'away'. Makes me think whether I've been an 'away' friend when I'm in Melbourne... and that I'm most available for my friends when I'm physically back.

It warms my heart when friends call and really take the effort to meet up when you're back... and the times of sharing is really something I feel is precious... it's as if we go through the whole half year in a super-long conversation... really summarized ya? :) Summarized... yet detailed at 'important' bits... hehe. :) I'm happy to hear about how things are going well for friends and how they've grown and matured in many ways. I'm glad to hear of how friends have overcome the struggles they faced bravely... and how they've become stronger and learned a lot through those situations. I'm happy to share about how the half year has been... the ups and downs. :)

We often say 'Friends forever' and 'Keep in touch always'... I think it's really special when we really keep to those words... and do indeed keep the friendship strong through the years~ it'll be fun to sit down with the same close friends you have now when we're all old and wrinkly... and start talking about "those days..." :) *smiles*
