The Present... :)

Finally got about to some proper reading today... and read this book called 'The Present' by Spencer Johnson. I highly recommend it! :) It doesn't take very long to read... yet it is such a meaningful book that you can really learn a lot from!
Okie... here's a little exerpt from the book:
The old man said, "Consider this: Even in the most difficult situations, when you focus on what is right in the present moment, it makes you happier, and gives you the needed energy and confidence to deal with what is wrong."
What the old man said surprised the young man. "So being in The Present means focusing on what is right now. And it also means focusing on what is right, now."
"Yes," the old man said.
The young man thought more about it. "You know that makes sense. When I'm in a bad situation, I usually focus on what's wrong and that gets me down and discouraged."
The old man said. "Many people do that. In reality, most situations are a mix of good and bad, right and wrong. It depends on how you look at them. The more you look at what is wrong, the less energy and confidence you have. That's why, when you find yourself in a 'bad' situation, it's important to look for what is right even if it is hard to find. Then appreciate it and build on it. The more you appreciate what is right at the moment, the happier you are..."
