One week just flew by... :)

Wow... it's been exactly a week since I came back to Melb... I really do miss home lots... but at the same time, it's also nice to be back here in Melb... we all have to get back to work at some point ya? Can't be on holidays all the time. :) And who said studies can't be enjoyable~ it's what we make of it. :) Pictures pain a thousand words, so I'll just share some pics that shall tell my story of the week that just went by... :)

First lecture on monday morning.. lecture 1.1= Biology of neurons. For the first half of this semester we'll be learning about the brain!

Melb uni! I was asked to look studious and pre-read my lecture notes just for this photo... in reality, we don't sit so nicely to read here outside the lecture halls... we usually pre-read at home or in the library.. or we often don't pre-read at all!! :) But this sem I hope to be more consistant with studies and actually keep up with pre-reading and revising... think i can do it? :) will try. :)

how about a suckao? it's really fun! there's a candle underneath that warms the milk and you drop in chocolate bits to melt... stirr wit the metal stirrer that is also a straw, and enjoy freshly brewed hot choc! :)

In the past week...

I have learned that...
1) When on an escalator do not turn back and laugh... I nearly fell down... but maybe that's just me because I am often quite a klutz~! :)
2) There is a lovely biscuit shop in Ipoh that sells all types of biscuits! :)
3) The name of those small round biscuits with yellow bean filling from Penang are called 'loong chui' = dragon ball/pearl. :)
4) My grandpa loves two things: authentic chinese tea &... nougat! :)
5) KLCC is a nice place to go for a walk, even outside... I have finally ventured out of the shopping mall & discovered that it's lovely. :)
6) We are not saved by good works but we are saved for good works.
7) Want to make me cry? Serve me Tom Yam. :)
8) Parking is a difficult task to master... but I shall try... and hopefully not damage my parent's car doing so. :)
9) To avoid long ques for recent movies... go to the cinema at 10.35am in the morning... there's no one queing up, and you can make it just in time for the 1st screening at 10.40am. :)
10) I'm going to miss home...
