I seem to be saying a lot of goodbyes recently... seems as if i'm always leaving.
Leaving places...
Leaving people...
but no matter how far we may be, i'll always keep you all close at heart... and hey, it's not like we're not going to communicate the whole time we're apart... we have internet, phone and good ol snail mail! :)

It is 3am... my flight is leaving in 9 hours. I've finished packing everything, said my goodbyes, cleaned my room and done just about everything that I could think of that I need to do before I leave. After typing this I'm going to make a birthday card for my mom... cause I won't be here to celebrate with her. :) I'm really going to miss home. This holiday has just been too short! Indeed I am fully satisfied with every moment, but as usual, the feeling I have is... "if only it were longer..." *grins* I guess holidays can never be long enough ya? :)

Did you hear about the bombings in London? It saddens me that people would want to do such a thing. I see no pleasure gained from causing chaos and suffering to people... why all this hatred and revenge? Everyone suspects that it is the doings of the terrorists, but since it hasn't been proven, perhaps we shouldn't be so quick to point fingers.

I'm touched by everyone's concern. It's as if you all think of pam when you hear of news in london... and i'm not even there yet! :) Received lots of messages and calls updating me about what's happening in London and urging me to be careful. Some of you told me "pam don't go!"... and truthfully it did cross my mind that perhaps i should delay my flight... stay home another day... :) but in the end I decided to go! Things happen and we can't always run away from risks... and moreover, I wouldn't want to leave Alison arriving in London all alone! It should be alright... don't worry ya? :) I'll come online to report my safety when I'm able to get internet access. :)
