its been awhile... : )

blazing blue and winter white sparkles create a magical atmosphere along river thames. :)

nothing beats coming home on a cold rainy day and have a lovely housemate prepare lunch - bacon & eggs + roast tomatoes + wedges + maltesers hot choc!!! WOW!

Heyho~! :)

Sorry for being M.I.A. (missing in action) from the world of blogging. :) Not that i've been overly busy with things here in london... it's just that i didn't want to get into the habit of refering friends to my blog when they ask how i've been... y'know what i mean? Communication is so important... and i don't think communicating through a blog really fulfils what it takes to nurture a friendship.

However, i still believe that blogging is a good way to keep in touch... and i will continue to maintain this site~! :)

*grins* Being a person who leaves the best part of the dessert to be savoured at the last moment... I shall blog accordingly...

Crowded areas are the perfect place for pick pocketers. My role changed from that of a shopper - to that of a victim... when I was chosen as a target along High Street Kensington. - thankfully alison was there with me - she helped me pay for my item (which i still wanted!) and helped me rationally think what action needed to be taken...

Chelsea streets aren't too safe at night either. There are plenty of drunken people.. and people who are just plain cheeky. :P There is indeed a sense of security when you're walking home with others rather than when you are alone... and i'm thankful for the friends who give me that.

Other than the above - that have to do with a sense of safety - I have been loving it here! :) I've come to appreciate mushy peas - truly a disgusting sight, but a tasty gastronomical delight with a gentle texture - it makes you realise that looks often aren't the best way to judge something. :)

I've also come to realise that you shouldn't believe everything you see: 'tea' in a pub is not really tea - yes it does have floating debris and looks exactly like tea - but... it's an acquired taste.

I've learnt that the sun is a cheeky thing indeed. :) In the mornings, it sulks away behind dense clouds... but come afternoon and it peaks out to shine in its full glory... tempting us to leave the indoor realms to soak in the warmth of its penetrating rays... that seem to melt you right to your core. truly a safisfying feeling.

Ballet, musical or opera... which would you chose? i enjoy musicals the most. Ballets are beautiful. Operas are not really my cup-of-tea. :P i fell asleep in the 4th hour or Midsummer Marriage (an opera)... can you blame me? :) too much of anything is often not a good thing.

Speaking of which, too much of blogging is a bore too rite? I have so much to say... but I know no one enjoys reading essays... so I'll stop for now. :)

I'll leave you all with a photo... taken today during lunch time... :)
Ask me about the significance of this photo...
pictures paint a thousand words indeed...
